Home Automation
Motorised awnings that react to the weather for you
Shade when the sun hits, retracted when the wind picks up, without you lifting a finger. We automate new and existing awnings across NSW.
Motorised Awnings, done properly
A big awning cranked by hand mostly stays where it is. Add a motor and it actually gets used: out for Saturday lunch, in before the southerly comes through.
Sun and wind sensors take it a step further. The awning extends when the deck starts cooking and pulls itself in when gusts get up, whether you're home or not.

Why it's different with us
The details that make it last
Weather-smart
Wind sensors retract the awning automatically to protect the fabric and frame.
Sun-tracking
Light sensors drop the shade when the afternoon sun hits and lift it when it passes.
Retrofit-friendly
Most quality awnings can take a tubular motor without replacing the whole unit.
One-tap scenes
"Entertaining" can extend the awning, drop the side blinds and turn on the outdoor lights together.

Questions
Motorised Awnings FAQs
Can you motorise my existing awning?
In most cases, yes. If the frame and fabric are in good condition, we fit a tubular motor inside the roller and add a remote or switch.
What happens if a storm comes through while I'm out?
With a wind sensor fitted, the awning retracts on its own once gusts pass a set threshold. You don't have to be home.
Does it need power outside?
A hardwired motor needs a power point or a circuit run by a licensed electrician. Battery and solar options suit spots where running power is hard.
